The University of Virginia launched a car-sharing program with Zipcar on November 17, 2009. The program will initially start with a fleet of three Hybrid Honda Insights and three fuel-efficient Honda Civics. The program is available to University faculty, staff, students ages 18 and over, and local residents.[1]
