The new logo for the Virginia Film Festival

The Virginia Film Festival is a program of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Virginia, held usually in late October or early November.


2010

The 2010 Virginia Film Festival took place November 5 through November 8, 2010. For the first time in many years, there was no over-arching theme to the year, which festival organizers said allows for more flexibility in selecting films and programs. Acclaimed director Peter Bogdanovich serve as fellow. [1]

The festival collected $90,158 in sales and 23,750 people attended. [2]

2011

The 2011 festival took place between November 3 and November 6. More than two dozen programs sold out, and the festival collected $89,602 in sales. A new attendance record was set with 24,077. [2]
