Venture Central is a collaboration between the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, Albemarle County, Charlottesville, and the University of Virginia. [1]

In June 2023, the program received a $300,000 grant from the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development via GO Virginia Region 9 to fund their Regional Entrepreneurship Initiative. [2]
