The University of Virginia Health Services Foundation is the physician group practice made up of doctors associated with the UVa Medical Center. The foundation was founded in 1979 as a non-profit organization to "serve the financial and administrative needs of clinical staff." [1] HSF is a separate entity from the UVA Medical Center and hospital.

HSF is seeking to build a 100,000 square foot facility on Fontaine Avenue to house billing staff. The Albemarle County Planning Commission recommended approval of a request to rezone the land from residential to commercial use. [2]
