Townwatch is a group that formed to oppose commercialization of the Charlottesville Downtown Mall, and in particular the efforts of developer Lee Danielson through his Charlottesville 2000 initiative. [1]

One of its members was Kevin Lynch, who would go on to be elected to City Council.
