Tony Vanderwarker was a founder and the senior creative officer at one of Chicago's largest independent ad agencies, Bayer Bess Vanderwarker. Prior to forming his own agency, he was Chief Creative Director and on the board of Needham Harper Worldwide in New York and Chicago. Moving to Charlottesville in the early 90's, he now serves as Chairman of the board of the Piedmont Environmental Council and is a founding member of the Charlottesville Tomorrow Board of Directors.

Mr. Vanderwarker went to Andover and Yale and graduated from New York University. He served in the Peace Corps in the Republic of Guinea. Mr. Vanderwarker and his wife Anne live in Keswick.[1]
