The Thomas Jefferson Health District provides public health services and programs to protect and promote community health through health departments in Charlottesville and Albemarle County, and the surrounding counties of Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson.

The city and Albemarle co-own the headquarters on Rose Hill Drive, but the city is the fiscal agent. [1]
