The Charlottesville-Albemarle Tribune is an African American newspaper serving the Charlottesville area since 1954. It is currently published by Agnes Cross-White.

Cross-White was sued for $1 million by former ad representative Rosanna Harris, alleging Cross-White lied about circulation numbers for the paper. Cross-White called the suit "frivolous" and alleged that Harris stole her car[1].

Former Democratic City Councilor Meredith Richards contributed monthly columns to the paper in 2004 and 2005 to balance the "very conservative Republican views" of Cross-White, who she has known for a long time and who invited her to contribute[2].
