Sydney Blair is a novelist who lives in Charlottesville. Blair, an associate professor of creative writing at the University of Virginia, is the author of the novel Buffalo, which won the Virginia Prize for Fiction. She is also the faculty sponsor of Meridian, a literary journal run by graduate students in UVA's creative writing department[1].
