StreamWatch is an Albemarle County-based organization that conducts community based stream monitoring within the Rivanna watershed. Rose Brown is the executive director. [1]

2011 land use report

A land use study conducted by StreamWatch that was released in October 2011 reported that 70 percent of streams in the Rivanna River Basin are impaired according to water quality standards set by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality. [1] The study cost $330,000 and was conducted with the help of over 120 volunteers. [2]
