Stephanie Commander is a Charlottesville attorney and former member of the Charlottesville Board of Elections. The Daily Progress reported in August 2014 that Commander was still using a cellphone paid for by the city of Charlottesville, even though she had left the board three year earlier. She was charged with four felony counts of embezzlement and misuse of public funds. [1] [2]
