Starr Hill Brewery was founded in September 1999 by native Virginian Mark Thompson[1] . Originally located on West Main Street, the brewery took its name from the local neighborhood. In 2005, Thompson expanded and moved the operation to Crozet. Their current location offers a tasting room and brewery tours. Their beers are available for purchase in bottles and cans in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
