St Clair Avenue is located adjacent from the 250 bypass that runs across the Locust Avenue bridge and is located up the street from the Burnley-Moran Elementary School. Before the 21st Century, St Clair Avenue ran across the 250 bypasses as an intersection, before the median was added in around the time of the early 90s.

History of Neighborhood

The St Clair Avenue neighborhood is located close to the Albemarle County border a little over half a mile where the Free Bridge crosses over the Rivanna river. During the 1900s most of the area surrounding the neighborhood was made up mostly of fields and livestock such as cows, who would have been found grazing in the area.[1] During the early 1900s one of the oldest buildings on the St Clair Avenue Street was the old farmhouse which was built around the 1920s[2] Later on the neighborhood would start to increase during the
