Spottswood M. Keller (1826 – February 15, 1898) was elected to the Charlottesville Town Council. He served as Charlottesville's Chief of Police in the late 1800s and was provided a salary of $600. Chief Keller died in office.
Family
Keller was married to Georgianna Balthis. His brother, Thomas S. Keller, was elected Sergeant of the Town of Charlottesville for the term of two years commencing on the 1st Day of July 1885.
