  • 1933 – A fire destroys a home near the Fry's Spring Beach Club [1]
  • 1960 – A hearing was scheduled for Charlottesville Corporation Court for the taking of properties required for the forthcoming replacement of the first Belmont Bridge for what would become the second. [2]
  • 1980Charlottesville City Council holds a special meeting at the Virginia Municipal League convention in Arlington to sign over the deed of former Midway School to the Midway Manor association. [3]
