Seats at the Table is a feature-length documentary produced by Charlottesville, Virginia-based film company, Rosalia Films. The film profiles University of Virginia literature course Books Behind Bars: Life, Literature, and Leadership, which pairs university students and residents of a juvenile correctional facility in the study of classic Russian literature[1].


Film Festivals & Awards

The film has appeared at South by Southwest, the Global Peace Film Festival, the United Nations Association Film Festival, the Virginia Film Festival, the Richmond International Film Festival, Hebden Bridge Film Festival, and was a 2019 finalist for the Japan Prize (NHK)[1].


Public Television Distribution

In partnership with American Public Television, Seats at the Table is currently in a two-year run of distribution on public televisions across the country[2].
