The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Virginia was founded in 1836. [1]

The dean is James H. Aylor.

The engineering school will likely be the home for many of students who are part of an expansion of the school's enrollment. Over 5 years, the school will add 1,500 new students. [1]
