Sammons Family Cemetery

The Sammons Family Cemetery is the final resting place for members of a family of freed-slaves who lived in the Hydraulic area of Albemarle County. The cemetery is in the path of the Western Bypass and a campaign is underway to have the graveyard listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
