The Rivanna Greenbelt Trail begins in Riverview Park and follows the Rivanna River for just over 2 miles.[1] The trail is accessible to persons with disabilities.[1] The building of the original trail was finished in 1993.[1] It serves as a segment of the larger Rivanna Trail which loops around Charlottesville. [2]
