Public-Private Partnerships are a mechanism to help fund infrastructure.

Albemarle County

The Board of Supervisors is exploring the use of public-private partnerships to help pay for redevelopment of commercial space on U.S. 29 in the growth area. The firm Stantec is being paid an undisclosed amount of money for their advice and guidance. [1]

Charlottesville

The city entered into a partnership with the Charlottesville Parking Center to help build the Water Street Parking Garage.
