Charlottesville Tomorrow seeks to be the area's primary destination for information about the area's infrastructure. We seek to provide the most comprehensive explanation of how future elements of that instructure are designed, implemented and maintained.  
In Virginia, planning takes place at the federal, state and local level. Different areas require different levels of federal and state input. The majority of funding for transportation projects comes from federal and state levels.  


At this time, we are covering three areas: [[Transportation Matrix|Transportation]], the [[Water Supply|water supply]], and [[Public Safety|public safety]].

They can be built by public or private entities. Planning for projects often takes multiple years and conversations about individual initiatives can become large items of debate.
