Plan 9 Music is a regional chain of music stores with one location in Seminole Square.
The chain formerly had a space on University Avenue on The University Corner that closed in 2008 to make way for a CVS[1].
Plan 9's existing location in Albemarle Square will close with the store moving to a smaller space, according to an owner's statement made in 2010[2].
In October 2011 Plan 9 filed for bankruptcy protection, with the intent of restructuring while continuing to operate. [3]
