Seay also served as a deputy sheriff for five and half years, and worked as a state juvenile probation counselor and a high and middle school teacher, administrator, and sports coach. Phillip Seay is an independent candidate for the Jack Jouett Magisterial District seat on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.[1] Seay officially announced his candidacy on July 24th, 2013 at the Albemarle County Office Building.[2]

Seay has been the director of the First Tee Charlottesville program - a youth mentoring program that builds life skills through golf - since 2006. He helped launch the program in 2002. Seay also served as a deputy sheriff for five and half years, and worked as a state juvenile probation counselor and a high and middle school teacher, administrator, and sports coach.
