Peter McIntosh is a retired attorney. McIntosh moved to Charlottesville in February 1975 to take a job as Director of the Charlottesville Albemarle Legal Aid Society,[2][1] now known as the Legal Aid Justice Center.[3]
2011 election for City Council
McIntosh announced that he would seek the Democratic nomination for Charlottesville City Council on May 25, 2011.[4] A month later, on June 16th, McIntosh announced that he would drop out the race for council. In an interview with the Daily Progress, he endorsed incumbent Satyendra Huja, as well as Kathleen Galvin and Paul Beyer.[5]
