Pete Syme is a volunteer with the Charlottesville Albemarle Rescue Squad.

About

After retiring as a facilities manager for the University of Virginia, Syme began volunteering with CARS. In addition to his work with the Rescue Squad, Syme volunteers with Building Goodness Foundation, a non-profit organization that build community-based structures, such as churches and schools. In 2011, Syme was recognized as one of the Daily Progress Distinguished Dozen for his work with the Charlottesville community.[1]
