One of the group's first tasks was to hire a $150,000 consultant to oversee a land-use study for the Avon Street Corridor south of the Belmont Bridge. [3] Since then, they have discussed the West Main Streetscape and are in the beginning stages of work on the Rivanna River corridor. [2]
