Background
Platts-Mills grew up in Charlottesville. He earned his BA in environmental science from Wesleyan University and an MS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He worked as a research analyst for UVA's Center for Risk Management until August 2008 when he joined Investure as a client relations analyst. [2]
