The Oak Hill neighborhood is a low-income community located south of Charlottesville in Albemarle County's development area.

Federally funded sewer upgrade

Sewer service in Oak Hill is currently provided by septic fields and these are currently failing. The Albemarle County Service Authority received a Community Development Block Grant to extend sewer service to the neighborhood. [1] The ACSA is waiving sewer connection fees to allow homeowners to be connected to the system. [2]
