Northeast Park

Northeast Park is a city park in the Locust Grove Neighborhood. The 4.8 acres it sits on was acquired in 1975 by the City[1].

Amenities

It has playground equipment, a basketball court and picnic tables. Recently a trail was built connecting the park to St. Charles Avenue. The trail winds through the woods on a bed of mulch and was built as a High School Environmental Science Project.

Location and Access

Northeast Park is located centrally in the Locust Grove Neighborhood. It is adjacent to a stream that feeds into Meadow Creek. The park is connected to Marshal Street by a footbridge, St. Charles Avenue by trail and to Calhoun Street and Sheridan Avenue by road.
