Ned Gallaway ran for election to the Albemarle County School Board in November 2009 from the Rio District. He was one of four finalists selected by the board to serve as a replacement for the at-large seat vacated by Brian Wheeler[1]. Gallaway is also president of the Dunlora Community Association[citation needed].
