Moormans River

The Moormans river runs through Rural Area 1, the north-western portion of the Albemarle County. It feeds into the Mechums river.

In 1988, a portion of the river from the reservoir to the confluence was designated by the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation as a scenic river.[1]

The correct spelling is without an apostrophe.
