Michael Guthrie is a Realtor with Roy Wheeler Realty Company. In 2009, he served as president of the Board of Directors for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors.

In 2011, the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce named Guthrie as its Small Business Person of the Year. [1]

Biography

Guthrie was born in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to US Army General John R. and Mrs. Rebecca J. Guthrie. He graduated in 1975 from the University of Virginia with a Bachelors of Science in Education and received a Masters in Education from the school in 1976. After spending the majority of his working career as a Realtor in Northern Virginia, he moved back to Charlottesville to become President & CEO of the Roy Wheeler company. [1]

He is the host of "Real Estate Matters,” a weekly radio show on real estate broadcast Saturday mornings on WINA. [1]

Guthrie and his wife Dottie were married in 1978 and they have three children. [1]
