J. Michael Crafaik III (August 9, 1971-December 13, 2008[1]) was a local restaurateur and sometime Republican candidate for Charlottesville City Council.
Crafaik attended St. Anne's Belfield School and Corning Free Academy in Corning, New York, and graduated from Charlottesville High School and the University of Virginia. In 1994, he founded Michael's Bistro and Tap House on the University Corner[1].
