Meghan Welsch served in various capacities at the Urban Land Institute’s Washington District Council prior to moving to Charlottesville in 2009. A non-advocacy international research and education non-profit headquartered in Washington, DC, the Urban Land Institute relied on its district councils throughout the country to execute its mission to provide leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.[1]

Ms. Welsch received her undergraduate degree in business from the Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She resides in Keswick with her husband Greg and their two small children.[1]
