The McLeod House is one of Charlottesville's individually protected properties. The house is an example of the English Tudor Revival style and was built in 1927. It first served as the home of Malcolm M. McLeod, a professor at the University of Virginia. [1]

The Charlottesville Planning Commission recommended approval of the IPP designation for the house at its meeting on August 9, 2011. Council voted on the matter on September 6, 2011. [2]

The property originally has a garage, but this was demolished in 1950. [3] McLeod lived in the house until 1954.
