Marnie Allen is Director of Hope House at the Monticello Area Community Action Agency. Allen provides intensive case management to families experiencing homelessness and provides community outreach and advocacy for the homeless and underserved.

Allen has volunteered in the community as a Big Sister, served on the Selection Committee and Home Visit Committee for Habitat for Humanity, on the Runaway Emergency Services Program Advisory Board for Children Youth and Family Services, as a participant in Charlottesville's Dialogue on Race Steering Committee, and the Chamber’s Nonprofit Business Council. Allen is a member of the 2010-2011 Leadership Charlottesville class.[1]
