What is cvillepedia?

cvillepedia is a wiki hosted by Charlottesville Tomorrow dedicated to sharing and building community knowledge. It is built with the same software as Wikipedia and has a hyperlocal focus on the people, places, and events in Charlottesville and Albemarle County. It is a free, public, collaborative encyclopedia that anyone can edit and improve.

Adding your knowledge -- tell your story

To contribute to cvillepedia, the first thing to do is to log in or create an account. If you've used or contributed to the popular Wikipedia project, you can just review our contribution guidelines and start editing. If you're new to wikis, please take some time to learn more about cvillepedia and peruse the help section for tips on wiki markup, using templates, and other features. There's also a cheatsheet for quick markup reference.

If you're looking for articles to work on, there are plenty of wanted pages to start or article stubs to expand.
