Dr. Lizbeth Palmer is a former member of the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors who served as chair in 2016. She won election to the Albemarle Board of Supervisors on November 5, 2013, defeating incumbent Duane Snow. [2] [3] She won re-election on November 7, 2017. [4]

Palmer did not seek a third term. [5] Upon leaving office, she was appointed once again to the Albemarle County Service Authority.
