Literacy Volunteers Charlottesville/Albemarle is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the estimated 9,000 adults in Charlottesville and Albemarle County who are believed to not be able to read[1]. LVCA was founded in 1983.
The group is a participant in the 2010 Design Marathon sponsored by the Charlottesville Community Design Center. It will move into new offices at the Jefferson School City Center[2].
