RWSA-sponsored studies

The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority sponsored numerous studies related to the 2006 Community Water Supply Plan.

  • Water Demand Analysis, Vanasse Hangen Brustlin and O'Brien & Gere Engineers, Inc., October 1997
    • Recommends planning for water supply demand in 2050 to be between 18-21 millions of gallons per day (MGD)[study 1].
  • Feasibility Study for Upgrading the Ragged Mountain Dam, Gannett Fleming, February 2003
    • Includes engineering investigations related to design adequacy of Lower Ragged Mountain Dam with upgrade alternatives[ref 1].
