Lawrence E. Kochard became chief executive officer of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company on January 1, 2011[1].
Biography
Kochard received both two degrees in economic from UVa. He taught at UVa's McIntire School of Commerce from 1997 to 2000. He was the founding director of Georgetown University's investment fund. Prior to being hired at UVIMCO, Kochard was managing director for equity and hedge fund investments for the Virginia Retirement System[1]
