Lampo is a Neapolitan pizzeria with two locations in Charlottesville that opened in 2014 at the former location of the The Farm Cville at 209 Monticello Road. The restaurant was founded by Loren Mendosa, Ian Redshaw, Mitchell Beerens, and Andrew Cole. [1] The restaurant later expanded to 205 Monticello Road after the Bridge Progressive Arts Initiative moved to a new space. [2]

History
Before the restaurant opened, the owner imported a three-ton wood burning oven from Naples that was lowered into the space from the roof. [1]
