In 2016, he petitioned Albemarle County for a rezoning for a development called Adelaide.  The Board of Supervisors not approve his application for a rezoning, leading to Redinger developing the project by-right.
In 2019, he told the Board of Supervisors that his Royal Fern proposal for land on Fifth Street Extended would be rebranded and resubmitted under the name Albemarle Business Campus.  On August 18, 2020, the Albemarle Planning Commission recommended approval on a 5-0 vote
