Kenneth Leatherwood was appointed as interim principal of Venable Elementary School after the abrupt resignation of Jamie Mathieson[1].
Leatherwood began work for the city school system in 1977, and has served as a principal of Charlottesville High School. Before taking over at Venable, he served as a coordinator of human resources in the division’s Central Office[1].
