Jerrod Smith ran for the Democratic nomination for the Rivanna District seat on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors in the 2019 election. [1] He lost in the race to Bea LaPisto Kirtley.

Biography

Smith grew up in Albemarle County. [2]

Smith attended Albemarle High School and Bucknell University and received a master’s in public policy from the University of Virginia’s Frank D. Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy. He is on the county’s Places29 North Community Advisory Committee. He has also served as the Rivanna District co-chair for the Albemarle Democratic Committee. [3]
