The ''''Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement'''' task force, also known as ''''JADE'''' is an interagency task force that deals with drug enforcement and some anti-terrorism activity within central Virginia.

==History==
In 1995, JADE was formed as an anti-narcotics coalition between [[Albemarle]], [[Charlottesville]], the [[University of Virginia]], and Virginia state police. The DEA also has an agent assigned to JADE. After 9/11, an FBI agent joined JADE and anti-terrorism was added to the task force's duties. Later two ATF agents were also assigned to JADE.
