Local food efforts

JABA is raising money to build a frozen-food processing facility to allow them to use more local food in the meals they serve to patrons. The facility would allow them to freeze locally grown food for use in the off-season. Each year, JABA serves mores than 36,000 meals at its Hillsdale drive location[2].

Nursing Clinic

JABA agreed in 2011 to help with administration of a nursing clinic at the Westhaven public housing site, [3]
