James Bryant is an interim member of the Charlottesville School Board. [1] He was appointed by the School Board on April 11, 2018 to fill a vacancy left by Adam Hastings .
Bryant is a retired teacher and school counselor who last worked at Charlottesville High School. He is a member of Charlottesville’s 10th and Page Street Community Development Block Grant Task Force.
He is also running for re-election in 2019. [2]
