The Ivy Fire Station is scheduled to open in fiscal year 2013 to decrease response times in the Ivy community. It will be located in an existing warehouse on Route 250 adjacent to the University of Virginia Medical Center's Northridge Medical Park.[1] The 7,000 square foot station will be staffed by a crew of six and will house two fire engines and an ambulance. There will be no public meeting spaces built as part of the project. [2]
