The Ivy Fire Station is scheduled to open in fiscal year 2013 to increase response times in the Ivy community. It will be located in an existing warehouse on Route 250 adjacent to the University of Virginia Medical Center's Northridge Medical Park.[1] The station will be staffed by a crew of six and will house two fire engines and an ambulance.
